5 AI-Assist Tools Small Biz Owners Are Using Today
What's referred to as “Artificial Intelligence” is being built into many aspects of running your business. Wonder what AI tools business managers are already using?
Reports vary, but the most common statistic cited is that at least 25% of small businesses are already using AI in some way. Of the top five tools small biz folk are using, four of them have free options so you can play with them to see how they might meet your needs. Here is a brief overview of each:
ChatGPT
Since brainstorming and content creation are ChatGPT’s strengths, managers use this tool to develop and write ad copy, web page content, and marketing emails. Then they can update and fine-tune that content based on the analytics data.
ChatGPT is useful for customer support, too. It can write up FAQs to answer common questions while boosting SEO. ChatGPT can also be integrated into a website as an always-available chatbot. ChatGPT has a free version to explore some of the options.
Jasper
Like ChatGPT, Jasper creates written content but focuses on marketing-specific aspects such as search engine optimization, brand identity, tone of voice, and similar details. Using this tool helps small businesses plan and execute quality marketing campaigns quicker and cheaper than traditional methods. That said, this is the only tool on the list that does not have a free version, but there is a free trial to see how Jasper might work for your business.
Grammarly
Many word-processing tools have built-in spell-checking and grammar-checking. Grammarly does that and more, such as providing suggestions. Using Grammarly to rephrase and clarify your writing makes emails and proposals clearer and sound more professional. Grammarly has a free plan with basic or limited tools, as well as paid plans.
Canva
Business owners on a budget have long been using Canva to create graphics for their marketing materials. Now they also have the option of using Magic Studio, an AI tool on the dashboard. Magic Studio includes tools such as Magic Write, Magic Design, Magic Eraser, and more. While there is plenty available on the free plan, there are limits, so you may need to upgrade to a paid plan eventually.
HubSpot
As a customer relationship management (CRM) tool, HubSpot is all about making it easier to manage those customer relationships through automation. That includes various contact points along the buyer’s journey from marketing through sales to customer service.
Business managers use HubSpot to collect customer data, design email templates, run marketing campaigns, build landing pages, and so on. You still need to feed the process good information, but having AI assistance with managing it is a big help. Many of their tools are available to try for free, but they will be Hubspot-branded until you choose a paid plan.
If you aren’t already one of the 25% of small businesses using Artificial Intelligence, consider trying one of these tools to get a feel for how AI can help. Free trials and limited options let you experiment with no monetary investment, and you may find a tool that makes all the difference for you.
Sprocket Websites subscribes to several AI tools, particularly those that help with search engine optimization and marketing. Rather than paying for and learning how to use some of these tools yourself, think about letting our team take care of some tasks. Give us a call to find out how we can help your business.
