When you click on "View Full Report" in the Google Analytics module, a second series of report modules is revealed and the last tab is labeled "Goals." When setting up your dashboard, our team uses your website's "Contact" page as the default goal. If you want to update the objective currently targeted by the Goals report, contact us to talk over the pros and cons.
You'll find another series of reports under the "Goals" tab. Goal Completions records how many times someone arrived on the "Contact" page and the accompanying graph shows you on which days those completions occurred.
The Goal Conversion Rate is determined by dividing the number of goal conversions by the number of total sessions and multiplying by 100. That gives you an idea of how many people who visit your website are interested in contacting you.
This is just a bare-bones report, but can be customized to record much more information. For instance, a goal could be a "Buy Now" button and given a value. Then the report would show you how many times a purchase is completed compared or not and what that means to your bottom line. From there, you can improve your website's customer experience to encourage purchases more often or of greater value.
