New Year = New Logo! Introducing Sprocket Websites + Digital Marketing

Starting a fresh new year inspires many of us to freshen up other parts of our lives. It’s inspiring us at Sprocket Websites Inc. to freshen up our branding! Check it out:

In 2025, Sprocket celebrated its fifteenth year in business. Some of you who have been with us since the beginning already know our story, but here’s a brief summary for our newer clients.

In 2008, two small web design companies were both attending a luncheon hosted by the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce. Recent chamber members, Jim and Susan, were networking to build their business. Don and Kate were seasoned members promoting the Small Office/Home Office committee.

Casual conversation soon turned to technical talk, and the foursome found they had a lot in common. Rather than competing, they decided to join forces to bid on larger website projects. After logging successes as co-companies, the logical next move was to work under one name. Sprocket Websites, Inc. was officially launched in 2010.

Sprockets provide the power to move forward, and Sprocket Websites powers businesses to move forward, too  –  on the internet.  Naturally, we wanted a sprocket in our logo. In fact, our logo features three sprockets.

The red sprocket is a nod to DNN, which was originally identified with a sprocket. DNN is a content management system, a website-building tool we have used since the early days. Today, we are also experts in WordPress as well as a few other platforms. The corporate colors of our two businesses are represented, too. The blue sprocket is for J&S Tech Designs, and the gold sprocket is for Gnu Ventures Company.

Sprocket’s services have grown in response to client demand over the years. People still need new and updated websites, but the increasing focus has been on getting those websites found online through search engine optimization and digital marketing. Since our logo no longer reflected all the services we provide, it was time to create a new one.

So we did. You’ll see the new logo showing up everywhere soon. We’re also revamping the Sprocket Report, our emailed newsletter on marketing and technology, so keep an eye out for that, too.

We’re looking forward to this next chapter in Sprocket’s history, and we can’t wait to power your business forward in the coming year. Contact us to learn more about how we can help. Here’s to a successful 2026 for all of us!
