Travel to #DNNWorld

DNNWorld 2011

... made the long journey over the Gulf of Mexico to Orlando. USAirways did a nice job today, no delays, no crises just a gate-checked bag to slow me down a bit.

So the plan was get to Orlando, and meet Don who was flying in 30 minutes later. However, American Airlines had a delay in Chicago and he left about an hour late. No biggie, I just have to hang in the airport for an extra hour because he has the rental car and hotel information on his Itinerary. Well it seemed like a good idea at the time.

As it turns out the Orlando airport is a ghost town at night. I’m not sure what it is like during the day, but there is more security and custodial people then actual people flying. Ok, so nothing really exciting to report today I guess…

#DNNWorld starts tomorrow, we didn’t elected to attend the training session on Wednesday, but we will be checking things out later in the day and attending the Reception in the evening. Thursday and Friday are packed days for us. Somehow Don even managed to volunteer our services to work the Community Booth during breaks on both days. Well it is a great way to meet people - so all is good!
