Sprocket Websites Marketing Helps Make Networking Mixer a Huge Success!
Last week, one of our clients held their first annual Synergy Mega Mixer networking event at a local restaurant the Stonefire Grill. This event was a great success with over 80 attendees! It was fantastic to see such a wonderful turnout and such great participation from all of the networking groups. This was an excellent networking event that helped strengthen both business relationships and friendships. Part of what helped to make it such a huge success was our marketing efforts here at Sprocket Websites.
We like to share with our clients how important online and social media marketing can be. This doesn't have to translate directly to sales. This can mean great turnout for special events and increased participation. For the Synergy Business Connections group, we promoted this event online across several channels and platforms. We have created a weekly newsletter that informs current and prospective members about group news and upcoming events. We promoted the mixer in that weekly newsletter. We also added an event to the Synergy website on the event calendar -this included an article on the website with additional details for those interested. Across social media, we created a Facebook event and Facebook posts promoting the upcoming event. We also posted to Twitter, the local Conejo Chamber Facebook, and went through and shared the posts to current Facebook Synergy members asking them who they were bringing to the event. This was on top of actual paper handouts and meeting announcements.
The result? Many people who attended mentioned that they actually heard about the event online through these channels. We like to cover all bases when it comes to marketing and promoting for our clients. Events like this show what a huge success marketing efforts can be with the proper team behind you!
