Citations – The Citation Tracker Summary

One tool you may choose to add to your dashboard is the Citation Tracker. As we said, citations are online source references to your business. The Summary screen has a Key Citation Score for a quick overview of the quantity and quality of your business’s citations. The goal is to keep moving towards a perfect 100 score.

The Key Citation Score is based on how many places your listing is found, on how many places your listing is not found, and how many of your current listings are correct or with errors. The Percentage Found score gives a visual of found vs. not found listings. You will also see the number of Live Citations and the Key Citations with NAP Errors. Keep in mind that NAP is your Name, Address, and Phone number and errors can be as small as “St.” instead of “Street,” which is why it’s so important to standardize your information everywhere.

Next time, we’ll click on the View Full Report tab and go over all the information available to you there.
