The Local Search Grid is meant to give insight into hyperlocal competition. Once you identify who your competitors are and how they appear in local search, you will be able to home in on underserved and less competitive locations where you can more easily rise to the top.
Following the keyword analysis also gives you clues on how people are searching for what you offer and how their use of certain keywords changes over time so you can keep up with the trends and continue to be found by the right audience.
