Citation Tracker – Competitor Citations
We’ve been walking through the Citation Tracker report and one of the tabs in the Full Report is Competitor Citations. Studying your competition can help you in two ways – 1) You can see what you’re missing and 2) You can see what your competitor is missing.
The Competitor Citations tab only lists the places where your competition is cited and you are not. That makes it easy for you to look through the list and decide which directories you should also be in so you can compete. The Authority score and the Citation Value notes will help you sort out which sites will have the best ROI.
The top five of your competitors, as ranked by Google Local Finder, are listed as numbered red pin markers. When you hover over each pin, the business name and the number of citations they have will pop up. The green checkmarks below the pin markers show which of the five competitors have a citation in each listed directory. You can “scoop” the competition by getting listed in high value directories where they aren’t already listed.
