School Keeps Parents Up-to-Date
New website provides loads of information
Parents no longer need to rummage around in a milk-soaked backpack in a quest for notes from their child's teacher. All Saints Catholic Academy in Naperville is now rolling out a revamp of its website that will help parents stay on top of news, guidelines and other information they need.
While the message and mission of All Saints Catholic Academy are timeless, lunch menus and events do change. To help parents stay on top of all the details, the school recently launched a redesigned website. Making information easily available to families was the most important goal of the redesign, but an important second goal was to make it easy for staff to post that information.Sprocket Websites worked closely with All Saints to organize their content so that the details could be added and accessed in the most logical manner. For instance, the yearly calendar is stored as a pdf so families can print and post it at home, but upcoming events are published like blog posts for immediate and complete descriptions.
Staff was trained in DotNetNuke, the Content Management System used, so the school can easily make additions and updates on their own in a timely manner. Parents are able to read the latest Principal's message, check out holiday schedules, set up tuition payments and more whether they are at home or at work.
All Saints Catholic Academy is a Naperville elementary school educating children from pre-school through 8th grade. It was founded in 2005 by three local parishes: St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, St. Margaret Mary Parish, and St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. The developers of Sprocket Websites have been building websites in the DuPage area since 1996 and are members of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Fox Valley Chamber of Commerce.
