Quickly Conceptualize Your Next Website with this AI Tool

If only there were a fast way to mock up a website, modify it, and get it launched. Oh, wait! Thanks to artificial intelligence, there is.

It can be difficult for clients to describe what they want in a website – but when presented with a design, they can be very vocal about what they DON’T want. In the old days, budgeting for a set number of versions was necessary because of the time and effort needed to create each one. With AI tools, however, playing around with designs is much easier.

One of our favorite web platforms is WordPress, and we are particularly fond of the Divi theme and page builder. Divi is extremely flexible so we can use it for clients of all kinds while still providing each one a unique, eye-catching look and great functionality.

Divi AI is a newer WordPress theme option, and it opens up a world of possibilities for envisioning your website. Here are some of the things you can do:

  • Create a design theme with your brand’s colors, mood, etc.
  • Change the color or mood in that design
  • Choose between multiple renderings of your design
  • Further modify your design
  • Ask for suggestions if you’re out of ideas
  • Update the background image
  • Generate appropriate, royalty-free graphics as needed
  • Place graphics on the page
  • Describe what a page should do and have that page built
  • Describe what kind of content you want and have it written for you
  • Shorten or lengthen your content
  • Refine and rewrite the content

You can even describe what you want your website to do and what it should look like, and the tool will generate all the applicable pages and the content on each page. Simpler still, start with a suggestion such as “I sell cupcakes – build my website” and watch what the tool comes up with for you.

Now, this AI tool is still in its early stages, so the results are not perfect. Editing needs to be done, such as counting the number of fingers on people in the images and the accuracy of the content text. But this is a great way to produce a website you can see, assess, and modify quickly and easily instead of trying to visualize it in your mind.

The Divi AI tool is a subscription service, which means you pay for it monthly or yearly. Or choose a lifetime subscription. There’s even a free trial, with some limitations, if you are comfortable playing around with it on your own. Better yet, the Sprocket team is already well-versed in Divi. Give us a call to discuss your vision and let us create the perfect website for you.

Every other Tuesday, Sprocket sends out the Sprocket Report, our latest business tip or our reaction to what's currently happening in Internet Marketing.

You'll read a web marketing tip from Kate, another one from Breanne, and - bonus! - we always have a guest post as well.

That's three valuable posts that you can read, plus a quick look at upcoming events and what's being said on Twitter. A great synopsis!

You'll want to get this newsletter for yourself, in your own inbox, so here's how. It's easy!

Scroll back up and put your email in the box. OR scroll to the bottom of each page. We have our newsletter subscription box there, too!

We NEVER give out your email address to anybody else, and we don't flood you with ads. It's just good, free information.
