In this Season of Thanking, Our Hearts Are Full!
Here's who we are thankful for:
When talking in the office about what we’re thankful for, "the internet" keeps popping up. Through it, we have colleagues and clients we connect with from all over the world.
Here at Sprocket Websites, our forte is integrating a client’s business goals with the best available technology, well-turned-out in design and search optimization. Often, that means we will consult with fellow developers to learn what’s new or what to avoid.
Thanks to online networking, we can make the most of Plant an App on a client’s website by working with Bogdan or Elena in Romania and get questions answered by Dale in Texas. We can reach out to Damir in Croatia to discuss new functions for Easy DNN Solutions or make an application request by emailing Linda at DNNGo in China. And when we need outsourced development services, we have Mubarak at Vivid Infotech in India to contact.
This around-the-world network allows us to provide the widest range of services for our clients, and we have a large number of incredibly diverse clients, for whom we are also grateful!
Sprocket has been lucky enough to manage websites for far-reaching clients such as Topco, the largest retail food group purchasing organization in America, as well as local operators such as Zach at Professional Wildlife Removal. We are also proud to support government departments at Henry, Sangamon, Will counties, helping provide services to their residents and celebrating their histories.
Businesses that occupy specialized niches are always fun to work with. Some of those include Illinois’ Music Filing Solutions, which helps schools store their sheet music, and California’s Freeform Development, which uses shipping containers to create high-style modular buildings and homes.
There are different challenges when marketing a company that has just launched compared to one that is long established, but we’ve loved working with both Folsom Ready Mix, who has 22 years of history in California, as well as the brand-new Silver Strike Concrete in Nevada.
Not-for-profit organizations always hit our soft spot and we work with NFPs across the country, from Naperville’s All Saints Catholic Academy to Bosom Buddies of Arizona to Girls Inc. of Greater Los Angeles. Some organizations have a more personal reach such as the special needs family support at Stillpoint Family Resources while others welcome a wide audience like the New West Symphony, but both make great use of online technology.
As thankful as we are for online communication with our industry colleagues and our fantastic clients, we are even more grateful that the internet allows us to continue building relationships within Sprocket. Ever-improving virtual communication means that even though we have never had a physical office, Jim and Susan, Don and Kate, Breanne and the rest of the team are never out of touch.
It’s been a rough couple of years for all of us, so it’s important to stop during this season and remind ourselves of good things and be thankful for them. We here at Sprocket Websites hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, remembering and recharging. And if we can ever do anything for you or your business, please keep us in mind.
