Scaling DNN Summit 2018
Both Jim and I are presenting at DNN Summit in February and it's an exciting year to be be part of this event. We are really looking forward to all the learning, sharing and networking.
While we have attended (and even hosted) DNN events in the past, we were unable to make Summit 2017 so it feels like it's been a long time since we hung out with DNN folk. Plus, with all the changes happening and soon to happen within the organization, there is additional interest and importance to putting in some face time.
Sprocket's primary focus is creating and maintaining websites for clients that both look and work great. But through the years we have noted that many clients aren't able to pursue the online marketing support websites need. In response, Sprocket has expanded its services to include digital marketing, particularly social media and content marketing.
So many of us have heard "I have an awesome website, but no one ever sees it" so we'll be bringing our case studies, best practices and tips to Denver to share with DNN website builders and users.
Jim's presentation is during Session 2 on February 7. He'll be speaking on "Content Marketing for Tough Industries" and sharing tips on how to come up with fresh quality content for those clients whose products or services that aren't naturally exciting to write about.
I'll be speaking during Session 4 on February 8 on "How to Tell your Client's Story Using Social Media in 2018." My presentation on the ways to use social media for marketing will provide good info for both website owners as well as the developers who built their sites. I will also be sharing some details on why and how DNN shops should offer social media marketing services.
Among the many other highlights Summit 2017 is offering, some face-to-face discussion with fellow members of the DNN Awareness Advisory Group is right up there. DNN's future looks promising and we're excited to be part of it. If you want to also be part, check out the different advisory groups and choose one where you can make a difference.
Both Jim and I are looking forward to shaking a number of real rather than virtual hands in Denver. Please make sure you stop us and say "hello!"
