Sprocketeer Finds Alternate Passage to Orlando

Peering out from the inside of a suitcase that was moments ago run through an airport X-Ray machine, Sprocketeer makes an observation: "Good. I successfully passed through security. Wearing the lead-lined briefs did the trick! Only a minor tingling."

Now our Gallant Gearhead reviewed the rest of the plan. "Check in with TechMan, then hold out quietly in the suitcase until the unsuspecting web developer and DNN World attendee arrives in his room, and then sneak out."

Sprocketeer used his SKYPE device (two issues back) to contact TechMan. "How goes the chase for The Joomler?"

"Slow-going", returned the Mighty Mini Tech Marvel, "Even with the equipment onboard the Sprocket Rocket, it's hard to pin down just who to haul in. I'm beginning to think there's not just one, but many."

"An interesting observation. I trust you'll wrap up this case and make it to DNN World tonight. I'm biding my time and when the moment is right, spring out. Then I'll meet you at the rendezvous point." Sprocketeer added "But first I think I'll crash the reception tonight. I understand superheroes don't show until tomorrow, so I'll stay in the shadows and check things out."

Hours passed during the domestic plane ride, which seemed like an eternity without communication, but Sprocketeer was bound to honor the no cell usage policy of the airlines. Finally, after a bumpy landing, the suitcase was on the move again, with Sprocketeer in it.

He could hear the constant noise of the luggage wheels with the rythmic click of the wheels passing over the cracks in the airport tiles, giving way to aggregate stone walkways that would chatter a lesser hero's teeth out, but Sprocketeer was made of stronger stuff. A short shuttle bus ride, a little more walking, and finally the suitcase fell to rest on what our web crime fighter assumed was a bed. This was his chance.

Hearing the distinctive sound of water in a sink, our hero pushes the zipper of the case open and squeezes out. Then some basic gymnastics, common workouts for a superhero, and he had the door cracked open. With a mighty heave our hero pushed open the door just enough to shoot out into the Florida sunshine and make his way to the conference hall.

Will Sprocketeer remain undetected at the opening reception. Stay tuned!
